9 ways to memorize for any test

These forms are called Memory Systems Storage or methods. Some of them are used since the time of Ancient Greece:
1. - Link

It is based on two at associating concepts to remember.

For example, to remember the list:

computer, clock, beach, underwater, lion, bottle, eagle, camera, poster and book;
join imagining computer with the computer clock is a clock display as Dalí painted it in "The Persistence of Memory";
join imagining beach watch that clock melting by a heat and the effect of the sun's rays on a beach more than 40 degrees in the sun;
and so on
You can use this method to remember short lists of items

2. - Number-Rima

You use the numbers 1 through 10 and words that rhyme to remember lists of items ordered.

For example:
Tuno
Cough
Cypress
Shoe
Peak
Beis
Cheek
Cake
Snow
Walnut
Lace the objects to remember previous rhymes following the same pattern as in the previous case. Ie enlazarías tuno (position number 1) with a computer for example list above.

3. - Number-Form

The numbers from 1 to 10 are associated with words that have a very similar way.

For example:

Penguin
Duck
Boobs
Yacht
Hook
Cherry
Spike
Pear
Spermatozoon
Knife and plate
To the above list (computer, clock, beach, underwater, lion, bottle, eagle, camera, poster, book), would you act the same way if you wanted aprendértela in order to Method of Number-Form. Penguin lasso (number 1) with computer and so with the rest

4. - Roman Room

In this case you need to keep in mind a room or living room you know very well. What you do is associate each object to remember with objects that are inside the room.

For example we are using (computer, clock, beach, underwater, lion, bottle, eagle, camera, poster, book), if the room you have chosen is your living room, you could associate computer lamp roof, watch the fire, beach sofa, ...

This method allows you to store a larger amount of objects that simple systems (see "9 ways to memorize for any test") but without order.

5. - Travel or  Loci

Associate objects to memorize minutiae or milestones ( Loci ) for a tour (trip) you know very well.

Loci comes from Latin and means places. You need to identify a route known to you (the way from home to school, to work, to school, to the gym, ...) and milestones in that journey. For example, the exit door of your home (ranked 1), the bus stop (position 2), the subway station (position 3), the light at the corner (4), ...

And what do you remember the list of objects you want to memorize is to link each milestone in the journey to know in order to memorize. That is, exit the house (1) attached to computer bus stop (2) to watch ...

The list can be long, so remember it as milestones.

6. - Memory Palace

It is a combination of the two previous (and Loci Roman Room). You choose a building that you know very well (your house, block of flats where you live, your faculty building at the University, a secondary school, ...), inside the building, rooms, halls, corridors have and within each compartment, the objects have.

For example, if you choose your Faculty building at the University as a Memory Palace, the list above (computer, clock, beach, underwater, lion, bottle, eagle, camera, poster, book) you could put it in one practices of laboratories, associating each object in the list with objects within that classroom. Another list of objects you could associate the objects within a room and so on.

This is a system to save much more complete than before. Although it is more difficult to learn and use at first.

7. - Alphabet System (as Buzan)

Created by Tony Buzan. For each letter of the alphabet you choose a word that begins with that letter or it starts with that letter.

Example:

A - Abbot

B - Beata

C - Barley

CH - patent

...

Remember the object list linking each word corresponds to a letter in order to memorize. Abad (A) with computer, Bl (B) with time, ...

8. - Major System

Also called Casillero Mental or phonetic code.

Consonants are associated with the numbers 0 through 9 and, with vowels, words are formed which then bind to the objects to memorize.

Example:

0 r ARO The letter "r" appears in "zero" 1 t, d Tea The form of "1" is similar to the letter "T". "D" pronounced like a "t" 2 n, n Year 'n' has 2 sticks. "N" like writing "n" 3 m Moho 'm' has 3 sticks ... ... ... ...

To remember the list of objects in the order set, lasso loop (position 0) or tea (position 1) with computer clock anus, mold with beach ...

9. - Dominic System

Created by British Dominic O'Brien, eight times World Championships venceder memorization. Given the complexity of learning some latter and more powerful Memory System, simply mention their existence
